(shot)starts with a establishing shot of joe on sofa in lounge watching a video on his phone
(shot)cuts to a close up shot over joes shoulder on what video he is watching
the video is of a mental health guidance video
(shot) then cuts to a close up of the emotion bag in the corner being large
next day..
(sound) there will be very quiet fast paced music in the background to show the urgency of the scene
(shot)quick shots of him grabbing his school clothes getting ready for school
(shot)close up shot of him grabbing the emotion bag
(shot) establishing shot of him walking out of front door
(dialogue) monologue starts. Joe' I have so failed this maths test. I am so stupid I will never do well on any test. I am gonna fail this test then I am gonna get a detention and I will never pass a test.
(shot) we see a close up of his face and we can see he is anxious.
(shot) we see the bag and through a dissolve shot it gets bigger.
(dialogue)Joe' everyone is gonna think I am really stupid and what if I get moved down a set.
(shot) close up shot of the emotion bag getting bigger.
(shot) jump cuts to show the passing of time while he is walking to school.
(shot) him entering through school gates
(shot) him entering hallway
(dialogue) Joe' I have definitely failed this is such an important test. I don't want to go in.
(shot) shows close up of joe looking at something. then uses a cut away to the exit sign. then back to joe.
(dialogue) joe' no I can do this repeat 3 times
(shot) through a medium shot we see him open the door
(shot) establishing shot over Joes shoulder to see a class of pupils who all then look at Joe
(shot) close up of joe lightly sweating and gulps
(dialogue) Teacher' come on Joe get to your seat
(shot) we see him walk to his desk and sit down and place the emotion bag next to his seat
(dialogue) teacher' today I will be handing back your maths papers. some of have done well some of you have not done so well. I will hand out your papers now.
(shot) medium shot of Joe seeing him get more anxious and worried
(dialogue) Joe' that is me did he look at me when he said people have done bad.
(shot) an establishing shot of the Teacher handing papers out.
(dialogue) joe' i can see everyone has done well i am gonna be the only one who has done bad
(shot) teacher walks over to Joe. close up of his shoes walking.
(shot) we see a close up of the bag and it tipping out
(shot) close up of test on paper shows a E
(dialogue) I knew I did bad what was the point in trying I will always be awful at everything
(shot) of Joe when the bell goes
(shot) close up of him picking the emotion bag and shows struggle of picking up the bag
we see dissolve shots of the clock changing to three
we see him walking home
(sound)in editing I will add some music which is slow and adds to the sad feeling of the scene
(dialogue) I will never do well i am gonna fail school and i will never get a job and i am just gonna be a failure nothing else.
(shot) cuts to a close up of Joe getting a message and it is from his friend asking if he wants to play football
(shot) we see through a shot of Joe that he is excited and uplifted
(shot)we see the emotion bag decrease a bit in size and as he rushes off to get ready he picks it up with ease
(shot) shows Joe leaving out the door
(scene) Joe is playing football with his 5 if his friends
(dialogue)friend 1' so Joe mate, what did you get on the test
(dialogue) Joe 'I did so bad I will never be good at maths
(dialogue) friend 1' don't say that mate you are better than you think. I did awful as well your not alone.
(shot) of Joe and he has the character expression of relief. then a cut away to the emotion bag on his back and it dissolves smaller.
(dialogue) friend 2' yes friend 3 over here on my head
(shot) we see friend 2 pass the ball to Joe and the ball roles to his feet.
(shot) we see a establishing shot of Joe with the ball and he smiles with joy.
(scene) Joe runs around we see a quick 10 second montage of Joe playing football
(shot) of Joe and he is out of breath smiling. then through a cut away we see the bag is tiny and almost disappeared.
(dialogue) Joe' I had such a good time. thanks lads i needed to have some fun.
(dialogue) friend 2' no worries we all needed this. we are all here to help each other out anyway we can.
(dialogue)friend 3'yeah anytime.
(scene) they all mutely start to leave the park to go to home as they all have school tomorrow.
(dialogue) Joe' I will see you all tomorrow
(shot) friend 1 and 2 and 3 all walk off one way while Joe walks the opposite way.
(dialogue) friend 2' Joe don't forget about the folder check tomorrow!
(scene) Joe is walking by himself on the way home and is speaking to him by himself.
(dialogue) I didn't know about the folder check tomorrow! my folder is a mess.
(shot) we see the bag dissolves from a very small size to a overwhelming size and by Joes character expression and movement we see that is starts to weigh him down.
(shot) we see quick cuts of him walking home
(scene) he is at home sorting his folder panicking about the folder check tomorrow
(dialogue) Joe' my folder is a mess i feel so bad. i am gonna watch one video to calm me down and help me focus
(shot) cuts to a close up shot of a video which says don't let your emotions over flow and allow your friends to help you.
(shot) using a L cut we here the school bell and then we see Joe walk to school and then through a close up onto the bag and it is huge and causing him to drag it
(shot) we see friend 1 walk over from the other side of the grounds.
(dialogue)Joe' hey mate I am really worrying for this folder check i am just worried all the time
(dialogue)friend 1' don't worry mate I can help if you let me.
(shot) we see friend 1 reach out for Joe's emotion bag
(dialogue) Joe 'thank you
(shot) we see both hands grab the bag
(shot) cuts to black and displays the message 'anxiety can be really hard but it can get better if you open up'
